MIDRASHA is the perfect place for YOU!

Continue your connection to the Jewish community while taking advantage of the wide variety of innovative and engaging opportunities MIDRASHA has to offer. Our community-wide high school is coordinated by the Bureau of Jewish Education of Rhode Island in partnership with area synagogues. All Jewish teens in grades 8-12, regardless of affiliation or synagogue membership are invited to participate.

Vision and values

The concepts of klal yisrael (respect for each other), talmud torah (study of Torah), tikkun olam (repairing the world), gemilut chasadim (acts of loving kindness), derech eretz (ethical behavior) and kehilah (community) are the intrinsic values of our school and programs.

You can immerse yourself in these values, making Judaism an integral part of your high school experience by participating in the hands-on, challenging classes we offer. You can also connect with other Jewish teens from throughout greater Rhode Island through classes and special programs.

Classes and special programs

Classes are offered on Sunday mornings at Temple Emanu-El, Providence.
