The PJ Library Grandparents Corner Presents: Ronald Florence, author of Emissary of the Doomed

Please join us on Thursday, March 11th at 11:00 a.m. for a discussion about The PJ Library and a unique opportunity to meet Ronald Florence, author of Emissary of the Doomed: Bargaining for Lives in the Holocaust. Florence is a historian and novelist, and the author of nine previous books, including Lawrence and Aaronsohn, The Gypsy Man, The Perfect Machine, and Blood Libel: The Damascus Affair of 1840.  He lives in Providence.

Emissary of the Doomed explores the moral simplicity and political complexity of the Holocaust, as one man is convinced that he can save the lives of hundreds of thousands of Jews. Autographed books will be available for purchase.

Everyone is welcome to attend this informative and inspiring program, to be held at the Phyllis Siperstein Tamarisk Assisted Living Residence located at 3 Shalom Drive, Warwick
